Suge Knight, the infamous co-founder of Death Row Records, is reportedly launching "Collect Call With Suge Knight" a podcast that he will host from prison.

Breakbeat Media CEO and Source Magazine co-founder Dave Mays is aiding Suge in this venture, and he spoke with TMZ recently about the podcast. “As we celebrate Hip-Hop’s 50th year, more than ever the Hip-Hop community needs a media platform that they can trust to bring a truthful and authentic perspective on so many important things happening in our world," he said. "I’m proud that Breakbeat provides this essential and valuable medium."

He explained further, "I'm so excited to be able to enlist the help of my longtime friend and one of Hip-Hop’s most formidable, pioneering, and fearless leaders to help Breakbeat continue to achieve this goal. 'Collect Call With Suge Knight' will awaken Hip-Hop fans worldwide and build bridges across multiple generations.”

Mays revealed to TMZ that five half-hour episodes are complete ahead of the expected halloween launch. Suge is expected to respond to Snoop's ownership of Death Row Records, and address Warren G, Wack 100 and others. Mays also assures that the podcast isn't only about "slinging mud," but enabling young people to learn from his experiences both good and bad.

The Podcast premieres on the Breakbeat YouTube channel. Sneak preview audio-only release on Apple, Spotify and all audio platforms will drop on Oct 24. Episodes are scheduled to broadcast weekly with audio on Thursdays and video on Fridays.
