Award winning rap artist, actor, producer, and philantropist Will Smith is being honored with a street renaming in West Philadelphia's Wynnefield section. Philadelphia City Council passed a resolution earlier today (3/6) which proposed renaming the 2000 block of N. 59th St as Will Smith Way. Smith joins Too $hort, Missy Elliot, The Beastie Boys, 8Ball & MJG, Dilla, and Big Pun as Hip-Hop artists who have had streets renamed in their honor.
