Homeboy Sandman, "Fine"

Homeboy Sandman is back with a new video, "Fine," directed by Art Morera. The track is featured on his latest release, Rich, which finds the long-respected MC at the peak of his lyrical ability — smart, down-to-earth and deeply relatable. Rich is fully produced by New York beatmaker Mono En Stereo. Homeboy Sandman explained their creative process.

"Mono and I did Kool Herc: Fertile Crescent, and I was early in my growth. I was thinking, but I was still easily duped by decoy empowerment. We did Dusty, and I was spiritually very weak, but that was necessary for me to rebound and make breakthroughs. Now the breakthroughs have been made. I can finally tap into and wield this Mono magic like never before."

Blu & Real Bad Man, "Aladdin"

When it comes to lyricism and perspective, there are few who can contend with Blu. Now, he's teamed up with producer Real Bad Man (Kool Keith, Boldy James) for a new collaborative project, Bad News, due out September 1. First up from the album is the track, "Aladdin." “This project is entitled Bad News because I am back with a new release, which is always Bad News for the competition!" Blu declared per a press release. Check out the track below.

Mick Jenkins, The Patience

Talented Chicago lyricist Mick Jenkins returns with a new album, The Patience, the follow up to his 2021 album, Elephant In The Room. Featuring appearances from Vic Mensa on "Farm To Table," JID on “Smoke Break Dance," Freddie Gibbs on “Show & Tell," and Benny The Butcher on “Sitting Ducks," the project takes a winding loop through Mick's always astute life observations. Mick remains in top-form throughout the well-produced album, showcasing why he's quietly one of the nicest MCs on the scene. Listen here.

Khujo Goodie "Splashy"

Rap legend Khujo Goodie is back with a new track "Splashy," weeks after the release of another single, the soulful "So High."

The video, produced by KoJack and shot by Kreative Orkestra, features Khujo breaking down exactly what it means to be "Splashy" as he kicks it while surrounded by fly cars at The All In Sports Bar in Morrow, GA. Check out the video below.
