New Music Friday: Fresh Releases From Nas, Diamond D, Black Milk, and More

Nas has released the follow-up to 2021's Magic, Magic 2. The album, produced by Hit-Boy, features 21 Savage on the previously released "One Gun, One Mic, 50 Cent on "Office Hours," the piano-heavy "Black Magic," and the uptempo "Motion" among others.

The original Magic dropped in 2021, and was produced entirely by Hit-Boy, who's also the production genius behind Nas' incredible trilogy, King's Disease. Listen here.

Black Milk, Everybody Good?

Acclaimed Detroit producer, Black Milk, returns with another standout release, Everybody Good? Already, the album has garnered critical-acclaim, with fans pointing to Phonte's stellar, emotional verse on the Raphael Saadiq-produced "No Wish." Check it out here.

Homeboy Sandman, “Bop”

Prolific Queens rapper Homeboy Sandman returns with a new single, "Bop." The single is from always impressive MC's upcoming album, Rich. “God. Love. Freedom. Talent. Magic. Health. Truth,” he said in a press release about his definition of the word. “Walking with God, being free, finding oneself and finding love is what real richness is.”

Rich is fully produced by New York beatmaker Mono En Stereo and is due out through his imprint Dirty Looks on August 4th. Listen to "Bop" here.

Jay Rock featuring Anderson .Paak and Latto, "Too Fast (Pull Over)"

Jay Rock is back with another single “Too Fast (Pull Over)” featuring regular TDE collaborator Anderson .Paak and Latto. The track is Jay's second recent release after a long hiatus, following last month's "Eastside."

“Pull ovеr, that a*s too fast (Too fast) / Hit the ATM and grab more cash (More cash) / Yеs, lord, feelin’ like a new man (Yes, lawd) / I was dreamin’ in the life, then I woke up in the…” Anderson offers on the catchy hook. Check out the video below.

Diamond D featuring Posdnuos, "Flying High"

Diamond D has released the star-studded visuals for "Flying High" featuring Posdnuos. The track is featured on his stellar 2022 album, The Rearview. Directed by Tommy Nova, iRossta, Adrian Ferguson and Diamond D, who also produced the soulful track, the sunny video features appearances from Scram Jones, Buckwild, Statik Selektah, Pos, Maseo. N.O.R.E., DJ EFN and Stacy Epps. Check it out below.

Lupe Fiasco, "Outside"

Lupe Fiasco returns with a new video for "Outside." On the track her rhymes, “VV’s got me outside / Lambos got me outside,” he raps. “Chrome Heart got me outside / Louis got me outside.” Check out the video below.
