Statik Selektah, Round Trip

Acclaimed producer Statik Selektah is back with his 10th album, Round Trip. The 20-track project exemplifies the high-notes of Statik's exceptional production talent (carefully placed samples, brooding bass lines, storytelling pianos) and features a slew of talent who accentuates it perfectly, including the standout entry, "Round Trip (for Dave)" from Posdnous of De La Soul. The track finds Pos offering a tribute to his group mate and friend, Dave, who tragically passed away earlier this year. AZ, Benny The Butcher, Inspectah Deck, Ghostface Killah, Method Man, Raekwon, IDK, Joey Bada$$, G-Eazy, and Kota The Friend also show up, as well as Bun B, who Statik collaborated with late last year on the great TrillStatik 2. Dillon x Diamond D, Uncut Gems

Atlanta rapper Dillon has reunited with Hip-Hop legend Diamond D for his latest release, Uncut Gems. Diamond D produced the entire album, which features Elzhi, Stacy Epps, Ras Kass, Planet Asia,  Slimkid3 of The Pharcyde, and Diamond himself. “After continuing to work together and kicking it over the years, it was only natural to do another project and to stretch it out to a full album,” Dillon says of Uncut Gems. Homeboy Sandman, "Seventh Day of Christmas"

Homeboy Sandman has returned with a new video, "Seventh Day of Christmas." The track, produced by Illingsworth, is featured on his release, 12 Days of Christmas and Dia de los Reyes, which arrived back in January via his own Dirty Looks imprint. The video, directed by Art Morera and co-starring Tatiana Borda, is simple but compelling, as Homeboy Sandman grapples with the importance of embracing clear communication in a relationship.
