The Wu-Tang Clan's Method Man sat down recently with GQ for their Real Life Diet series where they speak with athletes, celebrities, and other high performers about their diet, exercise routines, and pursuit of wellness.
Meth revealed that he has been following a macronutrient diet for the last 10 years. "Its split up in like percentages catered for my body type," the "Bring The Pain" MC said. "Its counting only fats, proteins, carbs, fiber, but sometimes fiber counts as carbs. I supplement with D3s, spirulina, fish oil, collagen, CLA and there are no food or time restrictions."
Meth also reveals that he doesn't work with a trainer, instead he uses the MyFitnessPal app by Under Armour. "It tracks everything for you - all I need is a small food scale, which I take everywhere," he explains. 'It stays in my backpack. I have about six of them now and its challenging, especially on the road but the fact that I'm doing just doing macros and I'm following a calories intake helps me stay pretty true to my food science. It's all numbers."
