Kid Capri Digs Through the Crates on 'Rhythm Roulette'

Kid Capri took a trip to BB's Records for Mass Appeal's popular, innovative series Rhythm Roulette. The series requires its participants to dig through the crates blindfolded, pick three records, and then make a beat with their findings.

Kid Capri's blindfolded exploration led him to choose records by Barry Manilow, Grand Funk, and Cheryl Lynn. Capri, who has collaborated with KRS-One, Big L, Snoop Dogg, Jay-Z, Madonna, Heavy D, 50 Cent, Diddy, Aaliyah, Salt-N Pepa, and Timbaland, among others, chooses to chop up a Barry Manilow record.

"Thank you for contributing to Hip-Hop!" Capri laughingly exclaims as he holds up the Manilow record upon the completion of his beat.

Beyond showcasing his production skills, the legendary Bronx native recently announced he's teaming up with ROCK THE BELLS for the first ever Hip-Hop cruise, to take place in November 2023 in celebration of Hip-Hop's anniversary, and will be presenting themed parties throughout the event.
