Buckshot Shorty, one third of Brooklyn's Black Moon was reportedly the victim of a recent assault in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Several websites and social media outlets report that Buckshot, born Kenyatta Blake was assaulted on Sunday (11/3), with many posting a disturbing video which claims to be Buckshot in the aftermath of the assault, with many bystanders and passersby offering no assistance as he struggled on the ground. There has been no official confirmation that the injured man is indeed Buckshot. More details we be provided as they become available.

Black Moon debuted in '93 with the critically acclaimed album Enta Da Stage. Their combining of dusty beats with Jazz samples and muted bass lines helped to define what some describe as Hip-Hop's mid 90's "second golden era". Black Moon are also part of the Boot Camp Clik collective which includes Heltah Skeltah, Smif N Wessun and OGC.
