Akademiks comments concerning Hip Hop's pioneers last week continue to receive backlash after rap legend LL COOl J addressed him on IG Live. Never one to bite his tongue when the culture of Hip-Hop is disrespected, Kid Capri hit IG recently to question the relevance of Akademiks.
"I don’t understand why what this guy says even matters, you make the wackiest people famous out here," he posted.
The legendary Bronx DJ then questioned why Akademiks would insult the pioneers as opposed to helping them. "He made some money from talking on the net since the pandemic and now he’s gonna disrespect pioneers? Instead of taking that energy and figuring how to help some of them?"
