Following Usher's unforgettable run with his Las Vegas residency, it seems like the residency space for legacy R&B and Hip-Hop artists has been ramped up. Wu-Tang Clan announced their residency, which will kick off during Super Bowl Weekend, and now trailblazing R&B group Jodeci has also announced they're gearing up for a Vegas residency as well.
DeVante Swing, K-Ci, JoJo and Mr. Dalvin made the announcement on Tuesday (Dec. 12), and “The Show, The After Party, The Vegas Residency,” will debut at the Mandalay Bay Resort at the House of Blues beginning March 15. The title of their Vegas run is, of course, named for their third album, 1995's The Show, The After Party, The Hotel which featured hits like "Get On Up," "Freek'n You," "Time And Place," and "Love U 4 Life." That album peaked at #2 on the Billboard 200 and was their third consecutive album to reach #1 on the Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart following their debut Forever My Lady and influential sophomore album, Diary Of A Mad Band.
Pre-sale for the Jodeci shows start on Wednesday (Dec. 13) at 10 a.m. local time with the code: VEGAS. General admission tickets will go on sale on Saturday (Dec. 16) at 10 a.m. local time.
