Bad Boys 4 is on the way. Will Smith announced the fourth installment of the hit franchise on Instagram today (Jan. 31). In the entertaining clip, Smith hops in the car and drives over to co-star Martin Lawrence's house, teasing fans along the way. He gets there and Lawrence answers the door with a question, "It's about that time?" Smith confirms that it is indeed, and together the duo shouts "Bad Boys for life!"

The first two Bad Boys films were released in 1995 and 2003 respectively, with the third installment, Bad Boys for Life, dropping in 2020 and raking in more than $426 million at the worldwide box office before COVID hit and shut things down. Altogether, the Bad Boys franchise has earned $840.7M at the global box office, according to Deadline.

Deadline reports the fourth installment of Bad Boys is in early pre-production and will be directed by Bad Boys for Life's director Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah. Chris Bremmer will write the script. Check out Smith's announcement post above.
