Swizz Beatz has shared the latest video from his new EP Hip Hop 50: Volume 2, which was recently released via Mass Appeal.
The crisp black-and-white video, directed by Prime.2 and edited by GhettoNerd, features Swizz, Jadakiss, Benny The Butcher, and Scar Lip trading bars on a dangling mic in a stark white room.
Swizz's 5-track EP, which also features Lil Wayne, Lil Durk, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Jay Electronica, Fivio Foreign, and Bandmanrill, follows DJ Premier's Hip Hop 50: Volume 1, which was released last year.
In other Swizz news, he recently showed Busta Rhymes love for his longevity in Hip-Hop and shared that Busta's new album will be executive produced by a few heavy-hitters.
“Cheers to my brother Busta Rhymes for life," he said. "Wait until you hear this new music this man got. The album executive produced by Swizz Beatz, Timbaland and Pharrell. Wrap your face around what that’s gonna sound like.”
The super producer is also planning to connect with his music friends for a much-anticipated performance at the 2023 Rock The Bells Festival on August 5 in Queens. This year's festival is particularly special as it also commemorates the 50th anniversary of Hip-Hop.
