On a recent episode of People Party with Talib Kweli, guest Sleek Louch revealed Missy Elliott's contribution to 1997's "It's All About The Benjamins" which featured The Notorious B.I.G., Lil Kim and The Lox.
After Talib pointed out that "All About The Benjamins" began on a DJ Clue mixtape, Sheek expounded further.
"A DJ named Super Mario leaked it on purpose," he said. "You weren't even supposed to that shit back then." Sheek then revealed that he didn't really like the track for the song originally. "That song just spread. I didn't even like the record when they played us the track," he explains. "I walked in and Missy was in the room and [I heard the track] and I was like, 'Whatever'. Missy was there dancing and doing the beatbox and we didn't even know who she was at the time. She had the 'hee hee haa' joint out with Gina Thompson at the time."
