Red Bull announced last week (2/9) that the historic 20th edition of the Red Bull BC One World Final will take place at the iconic Roland Garros in Paris France on October 21. World-class B-Boys and B-Girls from all over the world will perform their best power moves, footwork, top rocks and more for a chance at the World Champion title.

Following 60 qualifier events held in 30 countries, the Red Bull BC One 2023 World Final will see champions from each country going up against the best dancers to earn their place in a final line-up of 16 B-Boys and Girls in a bracket-style tournament to be crowned BC One World Champion.

Breaking is one of Hip Hop culture's original four elements, and as the culture celebrates five decades this year, the dance is experiencing its own evolution. Breakdancing is now a globally recognized and respected sport, transcending its origins in the Bronx and reaching worldwide audiences. Last year's Red Bull BC One World Final took place in Hip-Hop's birthplace of New York City, honoring the origins of the culture. B-Boy Victor of The United States and B-Girl India of The Netherlands beat the competition securing the historic win. B-Girl India dethrones 2021's Red Bull BC One World Champion making her the youngest B-Girl to ever hold the prestigious title.

“Over the next year, it will be important - now more than ever - to uplift breakers and communities that have transformed this artform into an official sport," B-Boy Victor said in a statement. "While breaking has come a long way, we must honor the pioneers who started the craft.”
