New Orleans rap veteran Mia X shared a touching video featuring the late Gangsta Boo, who tragically died on Sunday (Jan. 1). In the clip, the pair are laughing and rapping together, with Gangsta Boo displaying her signature infectious energy.

"Every time we were together. We laughed. We rhymed. We caught up," Mia posted, explaining the clip was from the night they were hanging out, rapping along to their 2014 collaboration with La Chat, "Bitchy." "We ate. And we always told each other how much we loved and respected each other. I love you forever Lil Sis."

A veteran in the rap scene, Boo started out with Three 6 Mafia, before releasing solo projects including 1998's Enquiring Minds. She's worked with everyone from Run The Jewels, OutKast, Foxy Brown, Eminem, Gucci Mane and The Game, to newer rap stars like Glo Rilla and Latto, who she recently collaborated with on "F*** the Club Up," late last year. Upon hearing the news of her passing at age 43, scores of fans, celebrities, and rap peers expressed their sadness at the sudden loss.
