Mary J. Blige's popular Strength of a Woman Festival and Summit is returning to Atlanta this May. Once again, the four-day event will be jam-packed with panels, concerts, and more with a focus on female empowerment and community building.
Created and curated by the legendary Mary J. Blige, the festival, which had its inaugural run last year in Atlanta, is the only festival experience in the market brought exclusively by an all-Black, female team. The festival will feature two nights of music — the #HipHop50 celebration featuring rarely-performed hits by Mary J. Blige and friends in a special” MJB B-Sides” set featuring Busta Rhymes, Method Man, Jadakiss, and more, and a special R&B night with performances by Lauryn Hill, Summer Walker, Lucky Daye, Muni Long, and others.
