Kool Keith has announced that a new album, Black Elvis 2 is on the way soon.

The long-awaited follow is "equal parts street and space" per a press release, and features collaborations with Marc Live, Raaddrr Van, Dynamite, L’Orange, J. Stylez, Agallah and Ice-T. In support of the upcoming project, he also released a new single "Black Elvis 2 Intro."

"I just play the part—[like] an actor," Keith previously told Rock The Bells of his enigmatic style. "I tell people, sometimes making music is like being an actor. You've got to play a part. One day, you'reThe Bodyguard; one day, you'reThe Professional. Me, in music, I just play different parts. And people hire me for those different parts. It extended my career. If I was just stuck in one genre, they'd think I can't be flexible."
