Kendrick Lamar won big at the 2024 BET Hip-Hop Awards, grabbing eight of the eleven awards that he was nominated for. Lamar's wins include Lyricist of The Year, Hip-Hop Artist of The Year, and Song of The Year. Kendrick was not present at the ceremony, which was held at Drai's Beachclub in Las Vegas.
Megan The Stallion was nominated for twelve awards, but did not away with any wins. Missy Elliot was crowned Best Live Performer, while Sexyy Red was named Best Brekthrough Hip-Hop Artist. Trina, Yung Miami, Juicy J, and 2 Chainz were amongst the performers for the night, along with Fat Joe who hosted, and perfromed his 2006 hit "Make It Rain".
