Flav isn't the only Hip-Hop artist to publicly support the strike. Earlier this month at Milken Institutes’ Global Conference, Snoop Dogg voiced his support for the writers on strike as well, suggesting that musicians should take a page from their playbook, particularly as it pertains to demanding revenue from streaming.
“[Artists] need to figure it out the same way the writers are figuring it out,” he said per Variety. "The writers are striking because [of] streaming, they can’t get paid. Because when it’s on the platform, it’s not like in the box office.”
