Erykah Badu Launches 'Unfollow Me' Tour With Yasiin Bey

Erykah Badu is going on tour this summer with Yasiin Bey.

The tour will kick off this June in San Antonio and will feature stops in New York, Atlanta, Las Vegas, San Diego, Denver, Boston, and more before wrapping on July 23 in Badu's hometown of Dallas.

Badulla Oblongata aka Sara Bellum aka Manuela Maria Mexico aka Erykah Badu recently popped up in March at fellow Texas native, Bun B's, Southern Takeover at the Houston Rodeo. The legendary singer delivered a slow-moving version of the staple track from her debut album, Baduism, "On & On," which sent the energetic crowd into a frenzy. She stayed for one more track, the forever bum-dude classic, "Tyrone."

As for Bey, between hosting Luminary's Midnight Miracle Podcast with Dave Chappelle and Talib Kweli, he released a Black Star album with Kweli, No Fear of Time, exclusively on Luminary. Chappelle, Kweli and Bey were all special guests at Napa Valley's Blue Note Jazz Festival last summer, which was curated by Robert Glasper. Kweli and Bey are also set to perform two dates in NYC and DC this May for a series presented by Blue Note.
