Netflix just dropped the new trailer for the upcoming comedy directed by Kenya Barris (black-ish, Entergalatic), You People. The star-studded film follows a couple that finds themselves in a cultural clash after moving into a new neighborhood, per Variety.
The movie, written by Jonah Hill and Barris, includes a bevy of talent including Lauren London, David Duchovny, Sam Jay, Elliot Gould, Travis Bennett, Molly Gordon, Rhea Perlman, Deon Cole, Andrea Savage, Mike Epps, Emily Arlook, Alani La La Anthony, Bryan Greenberg, Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
Nia Long and Eddie Murphy also star and are featured in the trailer as annoyed parents who must listen to Hill awkwardly articulate why mixed-race people are "really awesome" as he tries to earn their approval to marry their daughter.
The hook to Dr. Dre's "What's the Difference" featuring Eminem and Xzibit from the 1999 classic, 2001, plays prominently throughout the clip, not-so-subtly driving home the point of contention between Hill and Murphy's characters.
The film will debut Jan. 27 on Netflix. Check out the trailer below.
