Public Enemy frontman Chuck D was a recent guest on Kid N Play's Fun House podcast, where he discussed the need for a diverse line up of acts on early rap tours. As the trio discussed Kid N Play appearing on several early Public Enemy tours, Play revealed that there was one that he was unsure of.
"There was one that I didn't wanna do, I wasn't crazy about doing the one with NWA," he shared. "I curse as well as the next man, but that one was a little [different]," he explained. Chuck responded, "the science to that back then was that we had to have the entire community of Hip-Hop and rap music to go inside of an arena and bring in a diverse crowd.
