Lupe Fiasco has released the video for the 'Palaces' remix, from his latest album, Samurai. The Chris & Blaq directed video features Lupe on the beach, then segues to the faces of people of varying ages, races, and social statuses, showing that everyone is going through their own struggles, despite outside appearances- they're all "just palaces made out of flesh and bone."Milwaukee R&B singer Troy Tyler, who's vocals are featured on the track, also appears in the video.

Samurai is an eight track project, which marks Lupe's ninth studio album, with production by Sountrakk, who also produced his 2022 album, Drill Music In Zion. "I sometimes get tagged by my fans as not doing personal records,” Lupe said in a press statement concerning the project. “But I always tell people there's me in there if you listen closely enough. This album is one of my more personal records to date."
