Black Thought and J. Period have joined forces for a new collaborative project, released on Monday (March 27).

The effort finds Black Thought rhyming for 35 minutes straight over nonstop James Brown mixes. The rhyme is broken up into 19 sections that range between a few seconds to four minutes.

The pair previously connected last year for J.Period & Black Thought Present The Live Mixtape: Dilla Day Edition, which featured Black Thought rhyming over beats by J Dilla.

In addition to the new drop, Black Thought has another collaboration on the way in April, this time with El Michels Affair. Their collaborative project, Glorious Game is due out on April 14 via Big Crown Records.
