Black Thought and El Michels Affair (helmed by Leon Michels) have dropped an abstract, animated video for the title track from their forthcoming album, Glorious Game.
"Glorious Game" featuring Kirby is propped up by a robust, liquid bass line that rolls smoothly alongside Black Thought's delivery, which is confident as ever. The otherworldly video, directed by Gugen Allanm follows an animated panther as it prowls along, searching the world and eventually finding an animated silhouette of Black Thought. The track follows two previous releases, "Grateful" and "That Girl," which was fittingly released on Valentine's Day.
Black Thought and Michels' project has been years in the making— they met in the early 2000s but began working together in recent years. Their upcoming project, Glorious Game follows Black Thought's most recent team up with acclaimed producer Danger Mouse on last year's stellar Cheat Codes.
Glorious Game is due out on April 14. Take a listen to their latest track below.
