Beanie Sigel is set to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his critically acclaimed debut album, 'The Truth' as well as his 50th birthday with a star-studded performance at The Met in Philly on March 8.

A pivotal moment in the celebration will be the live rendition of the album's title track, "The Truth," according to a press release. "Produced by visionary producer Kanye West this collaboration not only stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of The Truth, but also holds historical significance as Kanye's inaugural placement as a producer, which marked the beginning of his unparalleled career in music production. Notably, the album also featured production by acclaimed producers Just Blaze and Bink!, further solidifying its impact on Hip-Hop."

The Truth peaked at #5 on the Billboard Top 200 charts upon its 2000 release. The Roc-A Fella Records project featured appearances by Jay-Z, Meek Mill, Eve, Amil, and Scarface.

"As part of the festivities, Beanie Sigel's return to the studio is not only a reflection on his storied past but also a glimpse into the future," a release states. "Hard at work on a new album, he continues to evolve as an artist, further solidifying his status as a trailblazer in the rap game."
