During a recent tweet in which she points out former president Donald Trump's mounting legal woes, Barbra Streisand used a bar from Memphis Bleek to emphasize her point.

“Trump is going to be indicted for stealing classified documents,” she wrote. “He is going crazy with his tweets urging his cult to ‘FIGHT.’ We remember what happened on January 6th. ‘The strong are quiet, the weak start riots.’ – Rapper Memphis Bleek.”

MSNBC host and Hip-Hop fan Ari Melber caught wind of her post and promptly retweeted it and mentioned it on show, The Beat With Ari Melber.

Memphis Bleek was super excited that Babs showed him love.

“They quoting the kid out here!!” he wrote alongside a screenshot of her tweet. “@barbrastreisand #BarsThatMeanSomthing.”

As aforementioned, Melber has previously shown his love for Hip-Hop lyrics. In a segment last year, he broke down Jay-Z's much buzzed about "God Did" verse from DJ Khaled's album of the same name. Melber, who also spoke Roc Nation's Social Justice Summit last year, discussed American corruption in light of bipartisan calls for reform of the deeply racist "war on drugs," kickstarted during Richard Nixon's time in office. Melber then links a 1996 conversation between Louis Farrakhan and reporter Mike Wallace about American corruption and moral posturing and examines the conversation against Jay's verse.

As for Trump, federal prosecutors have notified his attorneys he is the target of an investigation into his handling of classified materials, Reuters reports.
