The final season of Atlanta will air next month, and the official trailer for it has just arrived. The gang (Earn, Van, Al, and Darius) has returned stateside after a wild European tour run last season, and things look to be back to normal, or as "normal" as things ever get on this show.
Earn and Van (Donald Glover and Zazie Beetz) seem pretty comfortable in a co-parenting relationship that could be more (they go fishing together). Earn is in counseling where he insists that "everything is fine" because work is going really good (that usually means everything is absolutely not fine). Darius (LaKeith Stanfield) seems to still be indulging himself in bizarre quests, and Al (Brian Tyree Henry) is back home and dealing with regular Atlanta annoyances, like dumb traffic. There's also a cameo from Katt Williams as everyone's favorite Alligator uncle (his season 2 role earned him an Emmy), and of course, Atlanta wouldn't be authentic without shouting out the city's famous young "water boys" who occupy various corners in the city trying to get passerby to contribute to their business.
