Kevin Coval is an Emmy-nominated, award-winning writer and editor of over ten books & anthologies including The Breakbeat Poets: New American Poetry in the age of Hip-Hop and A People's History of Chicago. His writing has been featured on The Daily Show, National Public Radio, and in The New York Times, Chicago Tribune, Source Magazine, CNN.com, four seasons of HBO's Def Poetry Jam & more. As a creative consultant, he has helps brands such as Apple, Nike, Adidas, Beats, Gatorade, Redbull, Soho House, The Hoxton and more to tell stories and create innovative programs. Coval  performed on four continents in hundreds of cities across the globe and has shared stages with The Migos & Nelson Mandela.
