Quest talked about the upcoming interview with HipHopDX, admitting it was delayed due to his work on the Oscar-winning film Summer of Soul, which he directed.
"We've been working on this album for six years and it's 60 percent done," he said. "The fact that it still sounds good after six years of starting and stopping, that's how timeless it is and a return to form."
