Papoose announced his retirement from rap in 2021 before dropping a new project every single month, as he closed out his prolific decades-long career. The New York City rapper ended things with a bang with his final project of the year, December, which dropped this past New Years’ weekend. The project features contributions from Swizz Beatz, Russ, 2 Chainz, Remy Ma, Lil Wayne, and more.

The standout track is the “Thought I was Gonna Stop,” remix, featuring his wife Remy Ma, Weezy, Busta Rhymes, and 2 Chainz. Each emcee goes bar-for-bar on the hard-hitting track as Papoose comes off on top reminding fans he’s not to be messed with.
