Ice Cube has released his 11th studio album, Man Down. The 19 song project is Cube's first since 2018's Everythangs Corrupt, and contains features from Snoop Dogg, E-40, October London, Mike Epps, Xzibit, Killer Mike, Kurupt, and Busta Rhymes.

"If you look at the album cover, you'll see the different men in this society down," Cube says of the album title and artwork on his YouTube channel. "It also represents what would happen if all the real men stopped doing what they're supposed to do. The whole world would stop."

Man Down follows the lead single, "It's My Ego", with its video which sees Cube as a pimped out minister, complete with a back up choir. The Gabriel "VIDEOGOD" Hart directed video also contains an appearance by Cube's Next Friday and Friday After Next co star Mike Epps. "Rollin' At Twilight", an ode to friendship and fallen comrades starts off the album, and is a stand out on the project.

"3 Lil Piggies", "EgoManiacs", and "Break The Mirror"are stand outs as well. "EgoManiacs" features Busta Rhymes and Killer Mike, and Cube shared that the song is a remix of "It's My Ego" with Rock The Bells' Torae in a recent interview. " "I sent the track to a few of my folks - Killer Mike and Busta Rhymes. Man, they don't play, they got busy. It was a fire drill. I had to come with a different verse too, I can't let them have all the fun."
