Marsha Ambrosius and Dr. Dre have released their long awaited project, Casablanco. “I haven’t had the opportunity to not only create, but have no limits, no boundaries," Ambrosius told the Associated Press. "Dre was very much, ‘Whatever you want to do can be done.’ It breathed new life into me creatively, knowing that I hadn’t really done everything I was capable of doing until we created this.”
Marsha is credited with writing and co-producing every song on the 11-song project, which the duo has been teasing for over a year. Last year at a listening party for the album, Dre revealed that it all started with plans to create music for himself and morphed into her project. "The way it started out was she actually flew down to work on some songs for me," he said. "I said let's work on three or four songs for you, and that turned into an entire album over a two-week period."
