Ludacris (born Chris Bridges) is actually named in the category of motion pictures; and will be enshrined next year alongside Charlie Wilson, Lenny Kravitz, Sheila E. Martin Lawrence, Uma Thurman, Vince Vaughn, Jon Favreau, Garrett Morris and Luda’s late 2 Fast 2 Furious co-star Paul Walker will be honored posthumously.
Back in May, Luda was honored with an honorary bachelor's degree in Music Management from Georgia State University. He'd attended the university but left after his music career took off in the late 1990s.
“I went to this school and I never finished my credits,” Bridges said in an interview following the ceremony. “For them to come back and give me this honorary degree, it means the world to me, just for the simple fact that I always knew I wanted to come back. I always wanted to finish. I’m not a person who starts things and doesn’t finish."
