Ludacris has been given an honorary degree in Bachelor of Science in Music Management from his alma mater, Georgia State University. For the school's Commencement Week, Luda (born Chris Bridges) spoke to over 800 master's degree graduates on Wednesday (May 4).
Luda attended GSU in the 1990s, studying Music Management. He left the program once he landed a record deal.
“I went to this school and I never finished my credits,” Bridges said in an interview following the ceremony. “For them to come back and give me this honorary degree, it means the world to me, just for the simple fact that I always knew I wanted to come back. I always wanted to finish. I’m not a person who starts things and doesn’t finish."
