In a recent, sprawling interview with Forbes, Kanye West detailed his vision for the future of his brand, after his falling out with Gap. For one, Ye has named a new vice president, Shervin Pisheva, and has plans to bring his concepts to the masses for an affordable price, or for free in some cases.

"When it's sold in America, it'll be made in America, and when it's sold in China, it'll be manufactured in China," Ye said, speaking about his YZY SHDZ. "So the glasses will cost $20, and everything in the Ye Supply store will be $20. And, we're working on how to make clothing free. Because life is free."

Next up? "The monasteries," Ye said.

In an interview last week with CNBC, Ye detailed why he cut ties with Gap, proclaiming that "A king can’t live in someone else’s castle. A king has to make his own castle.” He again said he wasn't able to set the prices he wanted and didn't approve of color selections. “It was very frustrating. It was very disheartening because I just put everything I had. I put all of my top relationships,” he said. “Our agenda, it wasn’t aligned.”
