In a recent interview on Outside with Gorilla Nems, Ghostface set the record straight about his relationship with longtime friend and fellow Wu-Tang Clan member, Raekwon.
Ghost specifically denied any rivalry between the two, as portrayed on the HULU series Wu-Tang: An American Saga. Per OkayPlayer, the series portrays Ghostface and Raekwon as enemies and even having a shootout against each other before making amends as group mates. Ghostface says that's not the case, however.
“Me and Rae never had beef,” he said. "Me and Rae never had no problems. It was just the way them characters got switched around.”
He also said the whole thing isn't a laughing matter. “I mean, I don’t laugh about that shit because that shit ain’t my story!" he said. "But you know, Rae, that’s my bro. I love him. We had chemistry, like he taught me a lot of shit, a lot of slang ’cause up where they’re from, they had too much slang.”
Beyond clearing that all up, Ghost is getting in the holiday spirit with the release of his Killah Christmas EP. Additionally, he introduced a companion website that features music and merch that will be available for a limited time.
