Fat Joe is set to hit the Apollo theater with a star-studded list of guest performers which includes The Lox, Remy Ma, Dipset, and a few surprises. Joe spoke about the April 2 show on New York's Fox 5 News, where he described the show as a celebration of life.

"I started at the Apollo theatre, I won amateur night three weeks in a row," he recalled. "It really is my home, Harlem and The Bronx we're one. Im calling it a billion dollar's worth of stars on one stage in one night. I'm a native New Yorker, and I'm trying to put a top 5 moment in the history on New York [together]."

When the hosts ask if Mary J Blige and 50 Cent will appear, Joe replies "I didn't say that". When asked about Drake he replied that he definitely wouldn't be appearing, hinting that 50 and Mary might actually be surprise guests. "You were on a roll", he said concerning 50 and Mary.
