Drake dropped the surprise album Honestly, Nevermind last month to both critical acclaim and scrutiny.
"Appreciate everyone listening to the new album," he said during a recent live stream. "Embracing something that I wanted to do for a long time. You know, means a lot to me that it's been this many years, people still tuning in, being open and showing a lot of love to different shit."
"It's all good if you don't get it yet," he added, responding to criticism of the heavily dance-themed album. "That's what we do, we're waiting for you to catch up. We're caught up already, on to the next."
Criticism aside, the album was a major accomplishment for Drizzy — he became only the fifth act to have more than 10 no. 1 albums on the Billboard 200. The release also gave Drake his eighth consecutive year with a new top 10 album — a feat unmatched by any other act.
