Bun B and Statik Selektah announced they've reunited for a new album, Trillstatik 2, the follow-up to their 2019 collaborative project Trillstatik, which featured appearances from featured appearances by Method Man, Westside Gunn, Fat Joe, Big K.R.I.T. and Talib Kweli, among others.

However, there's a twist— you can watch the pair record it live in New York. Tune in between 2 p.m. - 2 a.m. EST on Dec. 7 to witness the creativity in real time. The project will be released two days later on Dec. 9. Statik and Bun discussed the upcoming venture in a Facetime video.

“I’m in here now trying to get some clothes as it’s going to be brick in New York,” Bun tells the acclaimed producer. “I can’t come like I dress in Houston, I gotta dress like a New Yorker for y’all.”

Bun then said he was excited about the number of beats Statik sent him ahead of the recording session. “I ain’t saying we gotta do a double album but we probably gotta pick enough beats for one."
