B.G. shared on his social media that Cash Money Records boss Birdman Williams paid the rapper a visit in prison. B.G. was one of the biggest stars on Cash Money Records in the late 1990s/early 2000s, and B.G. has attempted to have his 14-year sentence commuted three times over recent months.

“Just know when my feet hit these streets you gonna hear it here first #RNS,” B.G. wrote. “I appreciate all the luv and well wishes [prayer hands emoji] But when that day comes I promise it’s gonna be #WorthTheWAIT”

The video was uploaded on Saturday (Dec. 3) to B.G.’s official Instagram page; and it highlights Birdman's visit to the Federal Correctional Institution in Herlong, California, where former Hot Boy B.G. (born Christopher Dorsey) has been incarcerated since 2012. The footage also includes an audio snippet from B.G.'s 1999 hit "Cash Money Is An Army.”

The clip's caption reads: “In the end, they will call you a lot of things. Just make sure solid is one of them.”

There have been ongoing rumors that B.G. may be freed ahead of his current release date of April 7, 2024.
