Starz announced the premiere date for 50 Cent's upcoming Blowing Money Fast documentary. The documentary, which was originally slated to be an eight-episode docuseries has a premiere date of Oct. 23.

Blowing Money Fast will offer a first-hand account of brothers Demetrius "Big Meech" Flenory and Terry Flenory and the rise of their drug empire. According to executive producer 50 Cent, the doc will be a companion piece to his popular Black Mafia Family series, which had been renewed for a second season.

"The docuseries will offer an inside look at different perspectives from all of those involved," 50 said in a statement last year.

“The success of BMF demonstrates a continued rise in fan demand and interest in the story of the Flenory brothers,” said Jeffrey Hirsch, president and CEO of STARZ. “We’re excited to dive deeper into the world of Black Mafia Family in this new project with Curtis, Shan and the teams at G-Unit and Jigsaw.”

50 announced recently in an IG post that his relationship with Starz had come to an end. "Shout out to BET, I won Hustler of the year. No one from music culture has had success in Television production," he wrote. "I have 25 shows now and I’ve made some big deals away from TV. I’m out of my deal at STARZ tomorrow."
