On a recent episode of Cam Capone News, 2Pac's friend and associate, Napoleon of The Outlawz, claims that 2Pac had the opportunity once to record with Michael Jackson. Napoleon says Pac walked out when The King of Pop pulled a no show.
"Pac mentioned one time that he was called to the studio to do a song for Michael Jackson to lay a verse," Napoleon explained. "He told his his mother, his family — he was excited. And he went to the studio and he was like, 'Where's Michael Jackson?' and they said, 'Oh he can't come. He wants you to lay the verse.' So he got up and left."
Napoleon explained that 2Pac felt disrespected by the snub. "He was like, 'He wasn't man enough to come ... speak to me. I don't wanna be on the song.'"
Napoleon explained further that 2Pac was about ethics, and though he admired Michael, he didn't need the money and saw his absence as a sign of disrespect.
