For the first time ever in NFL history, five of hip-hop’s most celebrated stars will be joining forces for the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show in California’s SoFi Stadium, for one of music’s most anticipated live performances of all time. Dr. Dre, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, and Mary J. Blige’s catalogs have all withstood the test of time. All five artists have cemented their place as legends, collectively dropping 22 No. 1 albums and being awarded 43 Grammy’s in total. 

Sports fans and music lovers alike have been placing their bets on a bevy of categories, from the results of the opening coin toss to whether or not Snoop Dogg will light up a blunt on stage. Most notably, hip-hop fans are placing their own prop bets on what songs will be played during the Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show.

But the question is: What songs will be performed? Mary J. Blige recently revealed that the entire set spans for about 12-minutes, giving each artist about 2 and a half minutes to do their thing.

Kendrick Lamar and Dr. Dre are both set to drop highly anticipated albums this year. Dre recently released six new singles from his collaboration with Grand Theft Auto Online to streaming services, just a week before his big performance. In 2021, Kendrick Lamar announced he will be releasing his final album with TDE after 13 years with the label. The emcee scored two hit singles last year as he featured on his younger cousin and protege's "range brothers" and "family ties."
