Wu-Tang: An American Saga has been renewed for a third and final season. The hit Hulu series, following the formation of the iconic Staten Island hip-hop supergroup, is coming to a close, according to Variety

The announcement comes as the series just finished its second season on Hulu at the end of October, ending with the infamous basement flood that would change the trajectory of the collective’s career as the cliffhanger.

The series is set in 1990s New York City as it tells the origin story of the Wu and the struggles they endure to make it in the music industry. It was created by writer Alex Tse and original Wu-Tang member RZA, played by Ashton Sanders. The show also casts Shameik Moore as Raekwon, Siddiq Saunderson as Ghostface Killah, Julian Elijah Martinez as Mitchell “Divine” Diggs, Dave East as Method, Johnell Xavier Young as GZA, and TJ Atoms as Ol’ Dirty Bastard.

“For the story, you’re going to see what unfolds when the different members get signed to different labels,” TJ Atoms said in an interview with PopSugar when talking possibilities in season three. “And we’ll see what happens when they really start doing the Wu-Tang thing for real. We’re probably going to see tours and shows. A lot of performances and drama, for sure, because RZA was making all the decisions. Everybody didn’t agree with RZA’s decisions. I don’t know if everybody [was unhappy], but I know some people were probably not as happy with RZA making decisions on their behalf, so we’re going to see a lot of this and a lot of that.”
