It was the smack heard round the world, after Will Smith walked onto the Academy Awards stage and smacked comedian and presenter Chris Rock for making a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s hairstyle. The smack has all but taken over social media with many weighing in on whether or not it was warranted, and of course, memes and voice over videos have flooded timelines.

Sean “Diddy” Combs, who was a presenter at the award show not long after the altercation, told Page Six that Smith and Rock have since settled their feud.

“That’s not a problem” said Diddy insinuating that all is well. He continued: “That’s over. I can confirm that. It’s all love. They’re brothers.”

Right after the altercation, before Combs introduced the honorees for the 50th Anniversary of The Godfather, he tried to smooth the awkwardness of the still fresh assault.

“Will and Chris, we're going to solve this like family,” Combs declared. He said further, “Right now we're moving on with love. Everybody make some noise.”

A source with intimate knowledge of the situation, who is friends with Rock, revealed to TMZ that Rock was unaware that Pinkett Smith’s hair loss was due to alopecia, and that Rock and Smith had not spoken since the confrontation. Smith was spotted partying at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party where he was asked by Mark Malkin, Variety’s senior editor, how he was doing after the slap. Will replied, “It’s all love.”

Update: Will Smith has since responded with an official apology to Chris Rock.
