Tyler, The Creator Livestreams Concert Brooklyn Following New Album

Tyler the Creator released his new album, Call Me if You Get Lost, last Friday, June 25. The record was received with great acclaim from fans and critics alike, selling 185,000 records in its first week, making Call Me If You Get Lost Tyler’s biggest commercial success to date.

With some significant festival dates coming up, including Day N Vegas and Lollapalooza, fans are in for a treat as Tyler gets back on stage. On Thursday night(July 1), Tyler performed his first live show in New York since 2019 when he sold out Madison Square Garden during his tour in support of his previous album,Igor.

The show was streamed live on Amazon Music’s Twitch account at 8 PM ET from Brooklyn at the Music Hall of Williamsburg. The show took a secret approach; with minimal marketing, the show was an intimate one, meant for his biggest supporters.

A Reddit user claims to have gotten a text message about the show reading, “Check-in now at Music Music Hall of Williamsburg for wristband pick up. Limited quantities, first come, first serve.”  Tyler performed two shows before the one in Brooklyn, starting in his hometown Los Angeles and stopping in Dallas.

Though no tour dates have been announced yet, fans should expect a spirited performance from the rapper, known for his punk rock-inspired live shows and rigorous energy; Tyler, the Creator’s return to the stage, is a long-awaited one.
