With all of the tragedies around the country, Trae The Truth wanted to be committed to the people and to victims of violence. He received an invite to the White House from President Joe Biden in honor of his philanthropical endeavors. But Trae felt he was needed elsewhere.
On Wednesday, (May 25), the Houston rap legend explained that he'd declined the invitation.
“I was invited to the White House today to meet with the President with the families of those who have wrongfully been murdered by police,” he wrote on Instagram. “But the people of Buffalo NY are really in need as well as the families of the children murdered in Uvalde… so I will have to pass, I will be in the field with the people in need.”
