Tito Jackson is partly responsible for the formation of the Jackson 5, which included Michael, Randy, Marlon, and Jermaine. When Tito damaged one of his father's guitars, part of his punishment was to play something on the instrument. This sparked the idea to put the brothers together as a group, which was eventually signed to Berry Gordy's Motown Records where they released "ABC", "The Love You Save", and "I'll Be There".
Under the name The Jacksons, the group later released "Goin' Places", "Dancin' Machine", "Blame It On The Boogie", and "Enjoy Yourself". The group's 1971 Motown release "It's Great To Be Here" was sampled by Original Concept for "Can You Feel It" in 1986, and again in 1997 for "It's All About The Benjamins" by Puff Daddy & The Family. R.I.P. Tito Jackson.
