The Alchemist Announces New EP and Curren$y Collab

The Alchemist has been on quite the run for the past few years. With over 20 years dedicated to crafting his iconic sound, working with some of hip-hops most essential acts from classic emcees to today’s dopest acts. Alc has recently collaborated with emcees like Boldy James, Conway the Machine, Armand Hammer, and the Grammy-nominated album with Freddy Gibbs, Alfredo

The Alchemist shows no signs of slowing down. On Tuesday (September 28), the Los Angeles producer announced his upcoming This Thing of Ours Vol. 2 EP to be released on October 8. The project features guest appearances from MAVI, MIKE, Danny Brown, Vince Staples, and more.

The first This Thing of Ours EP dropped back in April with collaborations with Earl Sweatshirt, Boldy James, Navy Blue, Pink Siifu, Maxo, and Sideshow.

The producer is also working with Benny The Butcher on his highly anticipated project Tana Talk 4. While crafting a collaboration album with Curren$y called Half Moon Bay set to be released December 10.

Alc is a nominee for producer of the year at the BET Hip Hop Awards. Arguably having the busiest year out of all the nominees, Alc may be in the lead for the producer of the year.
